Introducing Channel Builder: turn your VOD library into live channels

We've launched Channel Builder, a new way to run linear television from content you already own. Alongside it, a dedicated VOD streaming service, RTMP ingest, HLS generation and an authenticated CDN complete the delivery stack underneath.

What Channel Builder does

Operators can now create and manage live channels built from the VOD library - schedule titles into a linear stream and broadcast them as a channel. The library you've been renting out on demand becomes programming, without new content, new rights or new production. For operators whose audiences still want something to just turn on and watch, it bridges broadcast and streaming in one workflow.

Dedicated VOD streaming service

A purpose-built VOD streaming service now sits behind on-demand playback, separating it from the rest of the stack and giving both on-demand and scheduled delivery room to scale independently.

RTMP ingest and HLS generation

The platform now accepts RTMP ingest and generates HLS streams natively, so live sources come in and adaptive playback goes out without external tooling in between.

CDN with authentication and analytics

A fully integrated CDN is now available with token-based authentication and built-in delivery analytics. Faster delivery, protected streams, and per-endpoint performance visibility - the things that decide whether a channel launch survives its first big audience.
