Episode monetization on the web, safer checkout, and responsive fixes

25.05.2026 - Episode Monetization & Safer Checkout

This release brings episode-level monetization to the web platform, tightens up payment forms, and fixes how several screens behave on smaller displays.

Episode monetization on web

The web platform now supports monetization for episode-based content, so viewers can buy or unlock individual episodes rather than only a full subscription or a whole series. For short-form and serialized catalogs, that's the pricing model the format was built for - low commitment to start, revenue that accumulates episode by episode.

Credit card validation

We've improved validation on credit card forms and the payment handling behind them, so errors are caught while someone is still typing rather than after they've submitted. Fewer failed payments and fewer abandoned checkouts caused by a form that rejected a card without saying why.

Responsive layout fixes on mobile

We've improved responsive behavior in Settings, the player header, and Shorts, so those screens now adapt properly across phone sizes instead of breaking at the edges.

Plus a round of fixes to the program guide and the player timeline. Small changes, most of them in places viewers only notice when something's wrong.
